A proposed class action lawsuit is pending against Sutter Valley Hospitals (“Sutter”). The case was filed on behalf of all California-based current and former hourly-paid nurses, surgical technicians and other related hospital employees and other related positions who worked for Sutter at any time since February 13, 2015. The lawsuit alleges that Sutter has failed to pay employees for all wages earned, failed to provide and/or pay for all meal periods and/or rest breaks, failed to timely furnish accurate, itemized and legal wage statements; failed to timely provide all final pay due to them at time of termination; and other derivative allegations.
